One to One — At Your Own Pace

A note: My aim here is not lengthy philosophical debate — but rather, what can genuinely help us free ourselves from suffering. The understanding and practice shared here should enable you, as you put it into practice, to assess and decide for yourself — and directly gauge the degree of freedom of your own mind.

Why One to One?

Some people prefer a personal, one to one setting — whether because of scheduling or personal preference. This program is designed for those individuals.

What We Cover Together

Right Understanding: Seeing Clearly

Right understanding is at the core of freeing ourselves from suffering. In this session we look into the nature of ourselves and the world — and try to understand it properly. The emphasis is on two things: your own direct experience, and the teachings of those who were enlightened, used as a guide whenever needed.

Suffering: Seeing It As It Is

Seeing suffering directly — what it is, how it manifests, and how it operates in your own body and mind. Not as a concept, but as a living reality you can observe for yourself.

The Cause of Suffering: Looking Within

Understanding and investigating the cause of suffering. Why do we suffer? We look at this directly — observing and investigating within our own body and mind.

Ethical Living: The Foundation

The foundation of practice. Restraint of body, speech, and mind. An ethical life supports a peaceful mind — and a peaceful mind enables us to investigate properly and grow in wisdom.

Meditation: The Direct Path

What meditation truly is. The four foundations of mindfulness. Practical instruction in mindfulness of breathing and the body — the beginning of direct observation.

Wisdom: Seeing for Yourself

Working with meditation objects in order to develop wisdom directly — not wisdom borrowed from others. First-hand experience is what matters here. Freedom comes through seeing and understanding for yourself.

The Path Forward: This Is Just the Beginning

Bringing the right understanding and practice together. We reflect on what has been seen and experienced across these seven sessions. And we look at how to continue — how to make this a living, daily practice that deepens over time and becomes a tool and doorway to our freedom.
